Kvarken Ports Umeå is looking for summer workers for our operational activities (dock workers)

We are looking for two summer workers to support the operations this summer. Are you responsible and a driven team player? Are you unpretentious, self-assured, and highly motivated? If so, the port could be the place for you this summer!

About the company

Kvarken Ports is the company responsible for the operations and facilities in the port. Umeå port is one of the largest ports in Scandinavia, covering over 100 hectares of land and 1300 meters of quay distributed over 14 berths. In addition to roadways, the port area also includes 14 km of railway tracks (of which 6 km are electrified). In the coming years, a virtually new port will be built, and the ambitions are high! The cross-modal perspective and the interplay between shipping, rail, and road run like a common thread throughout the work. The transition of shipping and society's ambitions to increase the share of shipping in logistics flows mean that we have extensive and important work ahead of us. Your role

As a summer worker in the port, you will support the operations wherever needed.

Examples of tasks:

· Maintenance of green areas

· Clearing of brush around fences and perimeter protection

· General cleaning of the port area

Your qualifications

· The position requires a B driver's license

The following is advantageous:

· Class RA brush cutter, basic

· Class RB forest clearing

· Class A chainsaw

· Class B tree felling

· C2 wheel loader
